Old hotel, but clean. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The location is brilliant for the price. In the middle of the district and still you can sleep peacefully. I'd book it again and again!

the hotel seems to be rather nostalgic, which gives it a certain charm, but the rooms are facing the street and are very noisy! the staff is extremely charming and always ready to help!
the insulation of the windows is very bad! Rooms to the backyard are recommended!

The breakfast at Hotel St James offers really good prices. the staff is good, providing free wake-up calls and ironing services. the hotel is located in a pretty nice area, not far from Times Square and other tourist attractions, the center of New York, and theaters.

The location is priceless!!! Even though the hotel is getting on in years, we love it ;) The price-performance ratio is top. Always new towels & bed linen. Next door there are two shops: for breakfast and to cover the need for drinks & sweets.
